Windows 10 October 2018 Update Is Installed on 12.4% of PCs in January


In January, Microsoft finally started its phased rollout of Windows 10 October 2018 Update. This means that users will be offered the update only when Microsoft determines it is ready for everyone. In other words, the major release is available to download for customers if they manually check for updates in Windows Updates.

After a slow start, there should be more PCs running Windows 10 October 2018 Update. However, the propagation speed of this update is not obvious when taking a look at the latest data from AdDuplex.

The ad network for Windows Store apps and games has just released the new data of January. But this time out of 100,000 PCs surveyed, only 12.4% of PCs are running the October 2018 Update of Windows 10.
