Not every company can afford distraction, a survey showed that lost productivity costs companies $544 billion a year. Yes! Distraction is costly. On a daily basis, think how many employees are actually working for maximum eight and nine hours in reality and how many of them are wasting minimum two hours? If you notice, each employee spends 1.86 hours per eight-hour on average basis doing something other than the given work. The level of attentiveness varies in each individual; hence there are people who have their own ways to remain productive in the same noisy office, where as for some people it is difficult to work with concentration.
